We all want to find out more about ourselves, and optical illusions are a fantastic way to do that. Not only are they fun, but can reveal some of our deepest, darkestpersonality traits, which we may keep buried, even from ourselves. Marina Neuralean shared a "psychology test" on TikTok, where you were faced with an image, and what you saw first in the picture says a lot about you.
Much like ink blot tests are used by psychologists to analyse a patient's character, optical illusions can be a fun way to delve deeper into your psyche as you're forced to trust your gut instincts.
So, what do you see first in the image? Marina explained "this image is a classic dual-illusion where you can either see two faces (a man and a woman) looking at each other OR an apple core".

She shared that "what you notice first says a lot about your mindset".
If you saw the faces first......then it means you are "a logical, analytical thinker with strong morals. You think before you act, value stability, and solve problems creatively, but sometimes, curiosity gets the best of you," so you may want to think before you act - especially when it's a big decision.
If you saw the apple core first......then you are "intuitive, emotionally aware, and great at reading subtle cues. You know the right thing to say, but often stay quiet. Stability matters to you, and you protect what’s important".
In the comments, people shared what they'd seen first, with many saying it was "accurate".
Marina Neuralean shares many of these tests on social media, with one recently showing whether you're more positive, or whether you're quite reserved.
She shared an image where there was a waterfall and a bear to be seen in the image, and explained what it means if you see each of the things.
If you see a waterfall first..."If the waterfall was the first thing you noticed, it means you open up easily and make new connections easily," she shared, saying that "you see yourself as an open person".
You have a "lightness" about you, and a "simplicity" which "attracts others". You're also "a great listener, and give genuinely helpful advice".
However, there may be a "downside" to this, as others may view you as "too positive, to the point where they think you have no problems at all".
This is because "when others come to you with their issues, you're always there to listen and help".
However, "when it comes to your own problems, you prefer to handle them alone".
And while you "take pride in your independence, deep down, you wish you had someone to lean on and share your struggles with".
If you see a panda first..."If you see a bear or panda first, you're the opposite of the previous description," Marina shared.
You "may appear sweet and friendly on the outside, but you don't easily let people into your heart". Usually, it "takes you a long time to trust someone, and you have a hard time letting go of past hurts" as well.
Marina shared this can be due to "past traumatic experiences," where you were "betrayed or deceived," so now you choose to "keep your distance".
But this isn't always "a bad thing," because it "shows you've learned from your past".
It also means you're "cautious not to make the same mistakes" you made previously, so it's understandable why you may be guarded.
